Terms & Regulations

1.      Participant can choose to submit the article in English or Malay language.

2.      Each entry should be more than 1500 words

3.      Each entry must be doubled space and using font Arial size 12

4.      Each entry must be the participant’s original work and entry may not have been published in professional media. Plagiarism will result disqualification

5.      We reserve First Right on all submission, all other rights to the article remains the property of the author

6.      Each entry must be submit to BLOG MEM from 6^th April to 16^th April 2012

7.      The participant can choose to write the article about science health which related to MEM’s theme which is.................. or from the title we listed below:

• gender confusion, genetical or hormonal?
• children mind reprogramming
• homeopathy, is it still relevant?
• human brain transplantation from a "chimera"
• the 5th sense of taste : umami
• a desired child, from the best sperm
• nanoprobes, the immunity protector.
• organ "photocopy" technology
• stem cell technology
• biomedical engineering should be explore.

8.      Each entry will be evaluated based on the voting online and the judge. We encourage the participant to promote their article to others by clicking the `LIKE` button at hte below of each entry.

9.      Scoring will be made by the jury, and there is provision of a score for  the most `LIKE` articles. The decisions of the judges are final

10.  It is COMPULSORY to send at least three entries from each university (Cairo, Ainshams, Azhar)

Example of the article format:

5.       Others (elaborations can be made as long as you want)

Terma & Syarat penyertaan

1.      Peserta boleh memilih untuk menulis artikel sama ada dalam Bahasa Melayu atau Bahasa Inggeris

2.      Panjang artikel hendaklah melebihi 1500 patah perkataan

3.      Artikel hendaklah ditaip dalam jarak langkau dua baris menggunakan font Arial bersaiz 12

4.      Setiap artikel yang dihantar mestilah karya asli dan belum pernah disiarkan oleh mana-mana media. Karya ciplak, palagiat dan terjemahan tidak akan diterima

5.      Setiap karya yang dihantar, berhak diguna, disiar atau dicetak oleh pihak penganjur di dalam apa-apa bentuk media tanpa perlu izin rasmi penulis. Namun hak cipta karya terletak di tangan penulis

6.      Penyertaan hendaklah dihantar ke blog rasmi MEM dari 6 April 2012 hingga 16 April 2012

7.      Peserta boleh memilih untuk menulis artikel sains kesihatan yang berkaitan dengan tema MEM 2012 iaitu                                      ataupun daripada tajuk yang kami senaraikan di bawah:

• gender confusion, genetical or hormonal?

8.      Setiap penyertaan akan dinilai berdasarkan system undian secara online dan juri tetap. Pihak penganjur menggalakkan supaya peserta mempromosikan hasil karya mereka kepada ahli perubatan yang lain dengan menekan butang `LIKE` di bawah artikel penyertaan

9.      Pemarkahan akan dibuat oleh juri dan juga terdapat peruntukan markah untuk artikel `LIKE` terbanyak. Keputusan pihak juri adalah muktamad

10.  Setiap universiti DIWAJIBKAN menghantar sekurang-kurangnya tiga penyertaan.
